With the closing of an acquisition, the owners of AVCtechnologies sought to quickly develop a new brand to unite the business unit with its vision for the future of the company
Development of company brand
The company had previously worked with a designer to develop a logo, but still needed more robust direction on its brand identity and design templates to use with customers and potential acquisition targets
I consulted with senior management to identify their brand goals and developed 3 design options for company’s brand. After iterating on the feedback, we finalized a comprehensive visual identity to match the company’s vision as a next-gen technology leader
After making an additional acquisition and divestment, AVCtechnologies needed a rapid website update to refocus the company's brand and prioritize investor information
Project scope
With the AVCtechnologies team, I determined the priorities for a web redesign were as follows:
Simplify the site to reflect the brand as a holding company
Make the latest company news more prominent and accessible
Increase the ability to automate content
Move to a final product quickly
With these goals in mind, I drafted wireframes for the new website in Adobe XD
Website development
Upon review, I moved forward building out the site which we were able to launch within 4 weeks from our initial conversation
